Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Communication Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Communication Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • SUMMARY  Responsible for working with team and leadership in supporting and developing the strategy, creation, and implementation of nationwide marketing initiatives for Alliant Private Client. This role will be developing content for internal and external target markets as well as strategic campaigns across multiple marketing channels, crafting branded collateral, leading the creation of sales presentations and client service marketing requests, coordinating nationwide events, and other cross-functional projects.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  •    Leads the content strategy, creation and execution of the team’s campaigns across multiple channels.  •    Responsible for developing, maintaining and crafting branded collateral, advertisements, and corresponding assets.  •    Assists the Vice President with internal sales support including the creation of sales materials, presentations and ad hoc requests for Private Client producers.  •    Assists with the development and management of the Private Client collateral library, podcast series, and websites.  •    Coordinates Private Client nationwide events and sponsorship opportunities, required material, and ensures promotional supplies are delivered.  •    Participates actively in creative brainstorming sessions with the marketing team and broader leadership team when necessary.  •    Partners with the marketing team on successfully completing projects requested by the business and individual specialty practices.  •    Under management guidance, effectively leads projects from concept to completion ensuring timely completion and meeting project deadlines with established constraints such as time, cost and quality standards.  •    Uses understanding of image creation, design layout, type and color to guide internal teams and clients to desired projects results.  •    Helps to ensure various offices and business units are adhering to brand standards, as well as act as a brand advocate to the client/business units.  •    Performs administrative tasks for the marketing department that include scheduling calls, creating reports from Salesforce, Eloqua and Google Analytics, crafting presentations and other tasks as needed.  •    Works collaboratively with internal clients, marketing colleagues and other stakeholders to ideate new concepts and creates value for the business.  •    Attends events and travel as requested.  •    Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.  •    Performs other duties as assigned    QUALIFICATIONS  EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE  Bachelor's Degree, in marketing, communications or related field  Five (5) or more years, related work experience   Insurance or risk management experience    SKILLS  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is required  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  Knowledge of CRM programs, Salesforce preferred  Competency in content management  Superior writing and editing skills  Comfortable working in a collaborative environment  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities under tight deadlines  Competency in project management      #LI-SS1
