Description

The Marketing Manager at VSP is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of marketing and communication activities, including promotional materials, events, digital presence, strategic planning, and related activities. 

Compensation

$90k starting salary, or commensurate with experience; eligible to participate in company performance bonus

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop the marketing strategy for the company
• Implementation of the marketing strategy
• Plan and develop communications plans for acquisitions in collaboration with the executive leadership team
• Conduct market research to aid leadership in developing an effective sales and marketing strategy
• Translate complex, technical information into accessible reference materials
• Work with teams across the company to identify and plan events related to marketing activities
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications to help shape future marketing strategies
• Execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels
• Produce and distribute marketing materials produced internally or with the use of outside vendors
• Manage, track, and maintain physical promotional materials
• Support internal communication efforts
• Staff trade show and promotional events as needed
• Ensure ESG initiatives are being met from a marketing perspective. All VSP products and services are properly identified by visual notation when applicable

Requirements

Education and Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience
2. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field (alternatively, relevant experience will be considered)
3. Experience in producing marketing collateral
4. Experience using Adobe CS design platforms (or similar)
5. Preferred (but not required) experience or background       

              a. Sales and marketing experience in an industrial environment

              b. Salesforce campaigns

              c. Video production and editing

              d. Highly technical subject material

              e. Project or program management

              f. Website development

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. The days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with two days per week minimum at the corporate headquarters. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
