The York Street Project, Jersey City, New Jersey is currently seeking a seasoned, organized, take-charge development professional to work with the Director of Development in executing the organization's fundraising donor programs/events and communications strategies.
Founded in 1989, by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, The York Street Project is a not-for-profit 501c3 social service organization whose overarching mission is to weave innovative programs together that shelter, feed, educate and promote the healing and independence of persons in need, especially women, children and families. The Project is composed of multiple interrelated programs, including a child development center, a transitional housing program, emergency shelter for homeless families, and an affordable housing residence.
