In this role you'll be responsible for communicating with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community and other audiences about the health care services offered at didgáli Wellness Center.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for effective internal and external communications strategies for our company and for communication with the Swinomish Community, shares information about services offered at didgáli Wellness Center.
• Based on assessment, drafts, and proposes communication campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
• Develops and executes social media and content strategies to release information on the organization in a manner that will promote a positive public image.
• Responsible for maintaining company social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Manages media inquiries and coordinates press conferences, interviews, and events.
• Works closely with the leadership team to develop marketing and communication strategies.
• Actively participates in efforts to build, promote, and maintain relationships and partnerships that advance the mission of the didgalic Wellness Center.
• Collaborates with the outreach director in strengthening and maintaining community relationships, fosters patient referral networks and enhances the reputation of the didgwáli Wellness Center.

Must Have’s*:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field required.
• 3 years of related experience writing and editing projects.
• Experience working for a tribe or tribal organization is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling ideas or services. This includes marketing strategy and services presentation.
• Understands and has the ability to adhere to state (RCW, WAC) and federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2).
• Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s license and meet eligibility requirements for tribal insurance.
• Ability to pass extensive criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Tribal affiliation a plus!
