POSITION: Marketing/Communications Intern

POSITION TYPE: Part-time (20 hours/week minimum)

LOCATION: 1000 Medical Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 (on campus or hybrid remote schedule preferred)

REPORTS TO: Director of Development

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing/Communications intern will...

1. Create an engaging content calendar for social media content and execute posting schedules.
2. Monitor social media interactions.
3. Interview participants and transcribe interviews for blogs.
4. Capture day-to-day content, including photos for social media and video for b-roll if/when on campus.
5. Assist in event planning and execution.
6. Help connect with donors including handwritten thank-you letters and draft templates for automated digital thank-you notes.
7. Assist in potential donor prospecting as needed.
8. Report to and collaborate with the Development Director on all marketing and communications initiatives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
