    Qualifications
    • Relevant experience in public relations, marketing or media relations
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or English preferred
    • Knowledge of social media platforms and other emerging technologies
    • Copywriting, editing or publishing experience required
    • Ability to meet competing demands, deadlines and work under pressure
    • Ability to think critically, plan strategically and prioritize actions as they relate to identified goals
    • Excellent written and oral skills
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

    Responsibilities
    • Create internal and external publicity materials as needed for various campus events including school and church activities
    • Photograph events and other activities for use in marketing St. Mary School
    • Write and edit copy for all marketing and public relations related materials
    • Develop a plan, post and maintain appropriate/applicable marketing and publicity on all approved social media outlets, websites and other digital platforms
    • Submit newsworthy items to local media outlets in a variety of formats
    • Maintain oversite of branding guidelines and update as appropriate
    • Organize and coordinate media events, set up interviews, respond to inquiries
    • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPI’s) and adapt marketing plan accordingly
    • Represent the Advancement Office on various school committees as appropriate
    • Remain competent and current through self-directed professional development
    • Maintain confidentiality related to all work-related exposures
    • Other duties as assigned
