Being a Marketing Director oversees critical marketing functions, including market research, communications, and product planning. Utilizes technology and data to Identify changes in the competitive environment and enable responsive marketing activities. Additionally, Marketing Director develops budgets, resources, and teams to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Marketing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Details:- Create exciting global marketing strategies for “American-Made” products.
- Increase our social media presence across our brands using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google , etc.
- Create email marketing campaigns to reach our vendors (MailChimp, Constant Contact, Emma, Marketo, etc.), and develop accompanying Google AdWords campaigns
- Generate leads via social media, direct marketing, emails, and mail marketing
- Evaluate effectiveness of data on monthly analysis of all Google Analytics and Google AdWords accounts
- Identify our target market and research trends
- Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services
- Oversee all content creation, according to deadlines and upcoming marketing campaigns
- Direct the creation of marketing materials and ordering of all material
- Trademark all necessary logos and sayings
- Most of all have fun!
Skills:- The marketing director must have the ability to motivate and lead a team of marketing associates
- Manage processes
- Be self-motivated, able to multi-task and time management
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords
- Develop and manage budgets.

- SEO Tools and Social Media Management Software (Hootsuite, Hub Spot, Moz, SEMRush, Sprout Social, etc.)
- Knowledge is a plus of: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS , C , Java.
- Microsoft Office Suite
Education / Experience:- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a relevant field. Or equal years of experience is accepted.
