Job Summary
Responsible for promoting El Paso Health (EPH) and projecting a positive image for the health plan. Develops and implements marketing plans that support the health plan’s strategic business plans. Conveys the Health Plan’s brand, advertising, sales and corporate communication strategy with internal and external stakeholders. Directs internal team to create promotional messaging and products, as well as works to publish and distribute them through media, advertising and social media. Serves as the lead subject matter expert for the organization assisting Associates and community stakeholders with understanding EPH Medicaid, CHIP, Preferred Administrators and Medicare Advantage benefits. Serves as the plan’s spokesperson and media liaison, handles crisis communications, and all public/media relations.

1. Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
2. Knowledge of developing and implementing public relations programs.
3. Experienced in media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
4. Clear concise oral and written communication to prepare and present marketing and promotional programs.
5. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, officials, news media, customers and the general public.
6. Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.

Work Experience
Five years of Management/Supervisory experience required. Strong marketing, public relations, and/or related experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field required.
