As the Director of Marketing for Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center, you will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the program's marketing and public relations programs in order to maintain and increase census. You will provide the community with information relative to our programs, services, practices, promote the services to outside sources such as physicians, discharge planners, business members of the community, churches and schools providing adult education.

Our Marketing Director maintains a thorough knowledge of program's admission requirements, services, and admissions policies and procedures. You will work with the admission team for members of the community as well as families, conducts pre-admission interviews with prospective patients and their families and explains all services of the program.

Responsibilities of the director of marketing:

• Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, community relations, etc., as they relate to home health and hospice operations
• Ability to make calls, and to organize and deliver public presentations
• Ability to establish, implement and maintain effective outreach and public relations program
• Thorough understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to home health and hospice

Qualifications for the director of marketing:

• 2-4 years’ experience in public relations in health care, home health, or hospice with previous supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college with specialization in marketing, communications or equivalent
