Marketing and Project Manager

Never Boring is a marketing agency with over 40 years of experience delivering creative and effective campaigns to companies in a variety of industries. We are in need of someone to run our marketing efforts both internally and externally as well as expertly manage jobs from initial contact through completion while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This person will possess high organizational skills and be a self-starter who can anticipate customer needs. As a communications company, we believe that effective communication starts with our internal team. The Marketing Manager should be someone who can adeptly communicate with not only clients, but internal staff. This person should have experience delivering feedback to a team and being able to coach to deadlines. Sales experience is a plus.

Reports to Art Director

Responsibilities:

• Develops marketing strategy by studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; monitoring the competition
• Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
• Create creative campaigns concepts for ad campaigns including radio, video, print and digital campaigns
• Negotiate media buys for radio, billboard, television, etc.
• Conducts creative brainstorms for creative campaigns
• Ability to write copy, ad copy and press releases
• Proactively gathers necessary information to plan and implement each client project
• Manages time and financial resources to ensure client projects are on time and on budget
• Leads morning huddles and weekly production meetings to keep projects status current
• Works closely with cross-functional teams from concept to completion for assigned projects and campaigns
• Acts as primary client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely to learn their business and communication needs
• Will be primary contact for all website projects. Will be the liaison between the client and remote developer to manage maintenance of current website and new website projects from beginning to end
• Works closely with staff to develop and implement strategic project plans
• Has a thorough understanding of the planning, creative and production processes
• Create production schedule for jobs using normal timelines
• Watch job hours and manage budget
• Executes special projects as they arise
• Participates in creative and strategic brainstorms, development of strategic plans, media buys, digital strategies, research and the creation of proposals and RFPs
• Manages billing and financials with accounting department
• Makes sure contracts have necessary information and are stored correctly
• Manages CRM program for job leads, and schedules discovery meetings with the appropriate internal team

Special Note: This position will work with an outside web developer and host vendor. They will provide website, hosting, website maintenance, basic SEO, and landing pages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
