    Description

    The Community Relations Coordinator will play a critical role in community CONNECTION, while building positive customer relations, and supporting overall company marketing. The successful candidate will work with the store leadership team and the marketing department to identify and coordinate outreach activities while building strong relationships within the community. As a Community Relations Coordinator at Earth Fare, you are a fully dedicated business team member who is vital to the future success of our business. With this role, you will lead all aspects of local marketing programs, event sponsorships and grassroots efforts that are affiliated with your assigned store markets. In this role, you’ll be involved in executing programs from beginning to end, with an emphasis on Competitively Impacted Markets. This role requires independent thinking, incredible prioritization and time management skills as well as some travel and a flexible schedule.

    Contributions to Earth Fare as the Community Relations Coordinator:

    1. Own community relationships within the greater Charlotte region through building and executing compelling marketing plans that will drive awareness and brand affinity.
    2. Establish local community partnerships with businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations in existing markets.
    3. Create and execute marketing plans to increase awareness of the Earth Fare brand, drive incremental shoppers, and ultimately market share gains in competitively impacted markets.
    4. Coordinate and attend large-scale events in the Charlotte region.
    5. Work with marketing director to develop and manage regional marketing budget.
    6. Be the Earth Fare expert. Consistently communicate our reason for being, Food Philosophy and Boot List; have an appetite for continuous learning regarding new products and program launches.
    7. Analyze and report on local competition; stay abreast of grocery industry and food trends.
    8. Evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities based on ROI; execute post-event analysis on the effectiveness of programs.
    9. Grow email, loyalty, and social media audiences.
    10. Manage donation requests within your specified region.

    Required Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of customer service experience, marketing experience a plus.
    • Valid driver’s license and transportation
    • Experience in public speaking
