The Marketing specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the marketing plans for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchises with the objective of promoting all products and services both internally and externally to grow revenue. This position will entail gathering information to determine potential sales of all products and or services for three franchises within the company footprint. This position will work closely with owners as well as franchise managers to establish companies marketing plan, conduct and establish local grass roots marketing, manage all online and social marketing campaigns as well as other marketing endeavors deemed necessary to achieve revenue targets. This position will be responsible for gathering information on competitors, prices, sales, and new methods of marketing and distribution in order to help produce effective results. The specialist will also employ search marketing tactics, analyze all marketing metrics, and develop recommendations to increase positive return on all marketing endeavors.
Schedule: 30 - 35 hours per week (Core hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm)
Responsibilities
- Assesses marketing opportunities and target markets for all three locations within company footprint (Peoria, IL, Davenport, IA and Rockford, IL)
- Develops, implements and reviews marketing plan for effectiveness
- Tracks and evaluates lead sources through various tools
- Tracks and reports financial results/impact of all marketing initiatives; Measures return on investment
- Coordinates, Plans, Creates and Develops all on line and social media marketing
- Helps to coordinate and track all radio, television, and print advertising including yellow page ads
- Develops print materials/advertisements
- Initiates and develops relationships with apartment/condo/senior communities, local realtors, mortgage agencies, and other potential customers; sets up regular visit schedule for these customers
- Develops, distributes and tracks all media releases
- Evaluates, documents and coordinates all donation requests, charity work and community involvement
- Coordinates and attends networking events and trade shows
- Communicates marketing initiatives and information to staff; Trains staff on effective use of marketing materials
- Work closely with customer service representatives (CSRs) and meets with CSRs on a bi-weekly basis to review marketing activities and goals
- Provides appropriate weekly and monthly internal reporting to management; concludes weekly reviews with management team
- Optimize lead volume and track and manage conversion rates; this includes daily review of the Google map, web inquiries and incoming call volumes
- Regularly reviews year over year metrics to identify trends and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of two years of consistently successful marketing experience, marketing systems, processes and plans
- Ability to learn TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system and practices
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Marketing field
- Highly creative and motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Friendly, professional personality
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and have the ability to travel within the company footprint
- Excellent organizational skills; must be able to multi-task under time constraints
- Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
