Key Responsibilities:

As a Local SEO Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Properly launches, executes, and maintains all Local SEO campaigns for our clients
• Creates and optimizes Google My Business listings
• Gathers and analyzes competitor intelligence
• Understands the client’s short and long term company goals and develops, implements, and collaborates Local SEO strategy to meet those goals
• Ensures all of the clients have an accurate, comprehensive, and complete online footprint
• Defines most important Local SEO KPIs
• Partners with content marketing to identify geographic keywords to attract local customers and ensure the development of high-quality, optimized local content for the website
• Identifies critical client/account issues and escalates them to appropriate executives in a timely manner
• Keeping up with the SEO (national and local) and AI industry through blogs, publishers, competitive research, etc. and regularly sharing thought leadership
• Communicates SEO strategies and goals to internal teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience in Local SEO role
• Knowledge experience in local SEO or local SEO listings management
• Strong knowledge of Local SEO best practices, Google My Business, GBP API and experience managing and optimizing local listings
• Familiarity with Local SEO principles for landing pages, reviews, ratings, and citations management
• Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Experience with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis (Semrush, Ahrefs, etc)
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work and achievements in Local SEO.
