Job Summary: The Marketing and Communications Specialist oversees the promotion and marketing of all organizational programs. The Marketing and Communications Specialist is part of the Development team and works closely with the Donor/Volunteer Relations Specialist and all Development team members. This position also works with the Finance Director to prepare an annual budget for marketing, communications, and public relations.
Qualifications/Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of progressively successful communications, marketing, and public relations activities, including excellent content creation. Demonstrated competence with tech including website content and design, Adobe InDesign, Constant Contact, cloud word processing, and social media is required. Knowledge of Salesforce, database management, and experience in nonprofit sector desirable.
