Position: FT - Program Marketing Specialist ($18hr - $24hr).

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Essential Functions of the Program Marketing Specialist

• ACQUISITION & RETENTION: Implement and advance Referral Marketing Plan focusing on referral acquisition and retention strategies
  • Work with Cabinet and Program Portfolio & Growth Subcommittee to enact marketing plan to promote the benefits of partnering with VYH
• Utilize reporting and analytics to track key metrics
• AWARENESS: Build awareness in order to increase Agency program revenue
  • Update, develop, and inform content, including print and digital, that supports the promotion of Agency programming
  • Create and distribute e-newsletter specific to industry/referral audience
• OUTREACH: Create connections and deepen relationships internally with program staff and externally with referral sources
  • Attend networking and outreach events related to promoting the Valley Youth House mission and program offerings as a community liaison

Minimum Qualifications for the Program Marketing Specialist:

• A Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience: marketing, communications, or public relations experience and/or non-profit, youth, or social services sector experience
• The individual must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel regionally when necessary
• The candidate must be an individual who has never been convicted of any child abuse offenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DHS, DHHS, JPO, County Children & Youth, or Child Welfare systems
• Maturity, motivation, and commitment to the Valley Youth House mission, vision, and core values
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently but also collaborate across departments in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; or sit for prolonged periods at a desk, working on a computer.
• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 35 lbs.
• This position requires travel up to 35% of the time to different regional VYH offices/sites, meetings, and Advancement related events, sometimes during evenings or weekends, as needed.
