Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boat Hauler to join our team. As a Boat Hauler, you will be responsible for transporting boats to various locations safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent driving skills.

Duties:

- Safely load and unload boats onto trailers using appropriate equipment

- Secure boats to trailers using straps, chains, or other approved methods

- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in proper working order

- Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver boats to customers or designated locations

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner

- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license

- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with experience hauling boats or similar oversized loads

- Ability to operate various types of equipment, including forklifts and roll-off trucks

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading boats

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
