Mate- Ship, Boat, and Barge jobs in Temple, TX

Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club, and we are currently looking to add highly customer-focused US Coast Guard Captains to our training staff. We are looking for a dynamic individual to handle training and on-boarding our club members through classroom and on the water training. Good communication skills and friendly customer service required. The position will require weekend hours as needed and is part-Time with flexible hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid US Coast Guard Captain's License (required)
• Must be 21 years or older
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
• Strong knowledge of boating safety and operation principles
• Proven ability to effectively train and educate people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
• Calm demeanor and ability to navigate stressful situations with composure
• Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a high standard of personal presentation
• Must be a self-starter with high attention to detail
