The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for temporary Boat Station Pest Detection Specialists Supervisor for the Plant Industries division located at the Centennial/Shoshone Boat Inspection Station in the Twin Falls area. Employees will report to Twin Falls, Idaho.

Example of Duties
This job is part of the agency’s statewide invasive species prevention program. These positions will serve as members of a watercraft inspection team stationed at the Inspection Station at Shoshone/Centennial. These positions inspect watercraft to prevent the spread of zebra/quagga mussels and other Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) from infested states.
The position will use an established protocol to inspect watercraft and conduct hot washes on high-risk conveyances; conducting quality control activities at watercraft inspection stations; setting up and taking down portable traffic signs on daily basis; delivering water and fuel to the station; and properly entering detailed watercraft data on an electronic inspection form.
