Function Group Summary:

Production Control Manager position is an individual contributor position reporting directly to the General Manager.

Job Scope:

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years’ experience as a Master Scheduler or Production Control Manager. Thrives in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment and works well across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Controls, maintains and manages Master Production Schedule in support of customer requirements while minimizing inventory investment.
• Maintains Master Production Schedule while accounting for Demand, Backlog, Material Availability and Capacity.
• Defines logistics and business processes to support manufacturing.
• Effectively launches new products and minimizes obsolescence.
• Interfaces cross functionally to plan and coordinate the supply chain in support of the Master Production Schedule. 
• Develops monthly production plan and participates in capacity planning. 
• Generates and utilizes inventory turns, on-time delivery and revenue metrics to evaluate performance.
• Participates in weekly operations and planning meetings and the daily production meeting. 
• Excellent Interpersonal, Negotiation and Communication skills
• Master Production Scheduling experience is required.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail oriented, must work well under pressure.
• Strong organization skills.

Experience/Education:

• College degree or 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain logistics

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

• APICS certification or related experience 
• Capacity planning Implementation experience.
• Experience in Contract Manufacturing 
• Microsoft Office proficient 

Working Environment:

• Works in an office and manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Some physical exertion is required
• Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility
