Materials Control Manager manages daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations. Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained. Being a Materials Control Manager coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to improve operational efficiencies and workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Monitors operations and troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Materials Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Materials Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Inventory Control Materials Expeditor

  • We are currently seeking Materials Expeditors to join our organization. The purpose of this position is to physically and systematically provide our production teams with the materials they need to organize and coordinate returns of any left over packaging materials after production runs are concluded.
    Job Requirements:
    • Use FIFO when pulling materials by "lot" number for traceability
    • Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods in the materials storage area.
    • Communicate with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain management teams regularly regarding non-conforming product and other urgent matters.
    • Execute inventory transactions in NetSuite system as needed.
    • Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
    • Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
    • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications:
    • HS diploma or equivalent
    • 1 years of experience and proficiency using NetSuite software, or similar software in a manufacturing/warehousing/production environment a plus
    • Strong data entry and general computer use skills.
    • Strong ability to multitask and to work independently.
    • Proven track record in strong attendance and reliability.
    • Should be self-directed and responsible.
    • Ability to communicate well with all levels with the operation.
    • Pallet jack and forklift experience.
    • Ability to use the RF scanning system efficiently and accurately
