Monitors operations and troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director.     We're looking for a Branch Manager in High Point, NC to cover that market who has strong financial competence, enjoys interacting with customers, and can balance the demands of the company with the needs of our clients and the resources available locally. This position will be a working manager role, leading traffic control and operations on-site. You'll have the opportunity to be the point person for everything at the branch—from production and budgeting to customer relations and shop activities. This role also collaborates closely with the estimating and accounting teams on revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting. From safety and staffing to production and inventory, the Branch Manager is a vital part of our team who ensures things are running smoothly.

    The base pay for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus plan. This role will be required to travel on an as needed basis.

    What You'll Do:
    • Manage the daily operations of the crews and equipment at the branch, including on site employee training, to support our customers
    • Proficient in communication, including representing RoadSafe to municipalities and customers, handling project notifications, securing permits, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Problem-solve, exercise independent judgment, and manage personnel and schedules effectively.
    • Coordinate labor needs and outside resources for projects while planning and scheduling in a cost-efficient manner.
    • Assess employee abilities, contribute to hiring and firing decisions, and oversee safety and compliance aspects, including DOT compliance and necessary training.
    • Understand the demanding nature of the position, including being on call 24/7 and working evenings, overnights, weekends, and extra days as needed to meet project deadlines.
    • Handle material procurement, reporting production for billing, and maintain weekly revenue forecasts.

    What We Need:
    • BS in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, preferred
    • Traffic control and safety experience including crew work and industry formal training preferred
    • 8 years supervisory or management experience preferred
    • Thorough understanding of state specifications for devices and materials in states where assigned branches are located
    • Industry involvement through trade associations, coalitions with state DOT, or similar
    • Highly experienced in MS Excel and Word
    • Computer training will be required for Viewpoint
    • Understanding of financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss statement
