Materials Control Manager manages daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations. Being a Materials Control Manager coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to improve operational efficiencies and workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Monitors operations and troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Materials Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Materials Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION SUMMARY

    The Materials Billing Specialist within the Shared Services team is responsible for material ticket processing, handling incoming customer phone calls, entering equipment vendor invoices. This position requires someone who is customer-service focused, able to identify potential issues, and take initiative to prevent future discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, comfortable with billing processes, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software programs, spreadsheets, and basic accounting.

    Job duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Enter daily material sales tickets from pits and quarries
    • Process product orders
    • Collect payments from customers
    • Enter equipment accounts payable invoices
    • Completion of various month end activities including reconciliations, reporting, and customer account maintenance
    • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned


    This is a full-time position located in Onalaska, WI. Some overtime may be required.
