Timpte is looking for a Materials Coordinator for our manufacturing location in Lincoln, NE.  This role will help support our New Lincoln Manufacturing Center scheduled to open in early 2025!  The role will be based in David City, NE for 2024. This role will be responsible for the daily management of Material replenishment (Kanban), presentation and flow for the Timpte East Production facility to ensure inventory accuracy.  

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include:

• Material Replenishment (Kanban), Material Presentation (CW/Static bins/POU), and Material Flow (Feed the line).
• Improve inventory accuracy and reduce part shortages. 
• Work directly with Purchasing and internal supply sources to coordinate material flow processes.
• Manages the Material Handling team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of four years Manufacturing inventory/warehouse experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Required to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes, and other equipment. 
• Must be proficient in understanding continuous improvement principles.  
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.
• Must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
