Overview
Works on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties.
Roles & Responsibilities
Performs miscellaneous responsibilities as requested by the Project Manager or Foreperson to ensure smooth operation and to learn all areas of construction operations.
Operates various pieces of equipment, including power broom, jack hammer, pumps, pipe saw, chain saw, vibratory roller, and hand compactor.
Performs daily preventative maintenance of equipment, including inspecting lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water on previously mentioned equipment.
May drive a pickup truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations in a safe and efficient manner.Ability to follow directions.

Individuals wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as required by OSHA and / or MSHA and company policy.
Protective equipment that may be required for this position includes, but is not limited to : a Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, High Visibility Safety Apparel, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Respiratory Protection, and Safety (hard toe) Boots.
