Ensure the stores facilities are properly organized and maintained as to permit only airworthy parts to be issued to an aircraft.
The Stores area is restricted to unauthorized personnel. The Materials Administrator will
authorize access.
Ensure proper information is entered into the material computer system.
Maintain a system of aircraft material records to satisfy CFR and company requirements.
Execute purchase orders after receipt of duly authorized requisitions.
Establish and control expendable, repairable and rotable inventory levels to ensure proper
balance and coverage to support company schedule.Continually review parts inventories at Main Base and all stations for required levels and
adjust as necessary.
Project, monitor and control inventory investment, service levels and other key parameters
Prepare monthly listings on leased inventories for computation of lease charges.
Prepare detailed and accurate Inventory Reports.
Alert company management of critical parts shortages.
Repair of repairable and rotable components by vendors.
Maintain current status of all major components out for repair, their locations, turn time, and
availability.
Buy/borrow or loan items to or from other airlines.
Ensure shipping and receiving of parts and supplies is carried out properly and efficiently,
with emphasis on HAZMAT recognition.
Any damaged parts must be documented on a damage report and advice the VPTO (DOM).
Coordinate with Chief Inspector regarding receiving inspections of incoming material. Assure
that no parts intended for aircraft use are issued or placed in stock without the required
inspection.
Evaluate Technical Operations procedures for effectiveness and recommend revisions as
necessary by completing a Management of Change (MOC) per MPP 11.12.3.
