Applies knowledge of material science to recommend engineering and manufacturing changes to attain design objectives in the most economical manner possible. Being a Materials Engineer reviews blueprints and specifications to determine the appropriate materials needed to achieve successful completion of initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Materials Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Candidate must possess a clean CDL Class A license.
Candidate will be required to pass a drug test and a DOT background check.
Must be at least 21 years old, and comply with FMCSA safety regulations.
Position is mainly Mon- Fri, 8 hours a day, weekends and OT will be required during certain seasons.
Dump trailer experience is a plus. Operating machinery is also a plus.
