Materials Specialist
Maintain and Manage MRP (C-Core) system, inventory improvement and inventory control. Tier two parts planning and purchase order creation. Issue customer UTR’s. Schedule trucking companies to ship tier two parts and internal shipments. Maintain International Material Data Systems (IMDS). Submit NAFTA documentation. Position functions include, but are not limited to, those set forth below.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).
Other Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of MRP systems, purchasing and inventory control.
Other
A good working relationship with trucking companies and suppliers must be established and maintained.
Must be able to work overtime, if needed.
Decision Making Authority
Must have strong decision making ability.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended periods of time, minimal lifting up to 30lbs unassisted and anything above with the use of a proper lifting device. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear at moderate noise levels. The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment will include constantly working near moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to fumes and electric shock. Moderate to loud noise exposure occasionally. Ear, eye, head, foot, hand and arm protection is required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
