Being a Materials Handling Supervisor oversees the utilization of hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility. Multi-state Farmington Hills Law Firm is seeking a Special Handling Team Supervisor to join our leadership team. The chosen candidate will oversee and directly engage in processes which support our clients’ consumers, ensuring the firm is meeting all standards of the highly regulated financial services industry.
The Special Handling team works to address inquiries brought forth by team members who interact directly with consumers. Their role is to review available information, then determine and initiate appropriate next steps, engaging clients for awareness or decisions, where needed.
The firm is looking for a candidate with leadership experience or demonstrated emerging leadership attributes. The ideal candidate will excel in the role by learning existing processes, meeting/exceeding client expectations and actively driving continuous improvement within and beyond the Special Handling team. This will require engaging team members throughout the firm and our client base, utilizing a strong voice balanced by equally strong active listening skills.
