Materials Handling Supervisor supervises and coordinates the work of employees who load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility. Processes orders from requisitions and dispenses items from stock. Being a Materials Handling Supervisor oversees the utilization of hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. Additionally, Materials Handling Supervisor ensures procedures are according to specifications and that resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met. May assist in inventory of stock and stock rotation. Enters information into a computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored data, or respond to inquiries about inventory levels or delivery schedules. Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our extruded films. This is a roll off inspection process similar to that done in textile mills. Additionally, you will be tasked with materials management and handling related to pre-drying of resins before extrusion.
Duties:
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
-Coordinate resin drying cycles across multiple drying hoppers
- Help oversee resin mixing and drying prior to compounding
