What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

• Senior level engineering on Material Handling equipment on Mining, Minerals & Metals projects preferred  
• Proven experience in mine operations/engineering or mine project development including selection of handling systems and equipment
• Experience with conveyor and feeder design, stockpile systems, and industry best practices
• Experience with bulk bagging and packaging equipment is an asset
• Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
• Experience with Computer Aided Design software and Microsoft Office is preferred
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $97,243 to $173,901

Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
