Materials Management Supervisor jobs in Canton, OH

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management
• APICS Certification (CPIM)
• Masters preferred but not required

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years manufacturing experience with minimum 5 years in supervision in materials management.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of MRPII
• Must be proficient in analytical problem-solving techniques and possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong leadership and team-building qualities

Physical Demands

• Daily walking and interaction on the manufacturing floor
• Office time: Constant sitting
• Minimal bending, squatting and kneeling
• Occasional pinching and grasping
• Minimal climbing and reaching
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Carrying up to 25 lbs. approximately 25 feet
• Push/Pull 1-10 lbs. of force 5 feet
• Travel to other Hendrickson plant, conferences/meeting, suppliers, and customers on as-needed basis

Environmental Conditions

• Office/Administrative
• Adequate lighting and ventilation
• Temperature Controlled with AC/Heat
