Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained. Being a Materials Management Supervisor coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations and staffing to enable workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Management Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Materials Management Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. The Aggregates Management Trainee role is based in New Braunfels, Texas at the Servtex quarry and reports directly to the Plant Manager.
As an Aggregates Management Trainee you will gain hands on experience in operations across the region while learning all aspects of our business. This is achieved through the delivery of a development program combined with critical experiences and projects that are important to our business. The successful candidate will be immersed in a program designed to provide exposure, training, and hands-on experience in all aspects of the aggregates business including production, sales, maintenance, supervision, quality control and logistics.
