Materials Manager manages the raw material planning processes to ensure an organization operates efficiently. Ensures raw materials are available to meet designated production schedules. Being a Materials Manager utilizes MRP system to manage material planning from purchasing, processing, warehousing, and production. Develops forecasts for raw material needs by considering purchases, production rates, and maintenance schedules. Additionally, Materials Manager coordinates with stakeholders in purchasing and inventory control when adjustments are needed and troubleshoots complex issues as necessary. OVERVIEW:
The Materials Manager oversees the efficient management of daily material operations and ensures the proper handling and preservation of materials within various facilities. This position also provides leadership to increase value by driving efficiencies in the material movement process. The Materials Manager ensures all activities are in keeping with the ISO 9001:2015 standards. The ideal candidate will have prior warehousing knowledge as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

The Materials Manager can expect their time will be split equally between the manufacturing warehouse environment and in an office environment. This position will be regularly exposed to inclement weather: cold, heat, and humidity. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Frequently exposed to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust, and chemicals. This position will work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities. The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team.

COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $78,250.00 - $122,250.00. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances.
