onsemi is seeking an Inventory Planner to work in our East Fishkill facility:

Job Summary:

The employee is responsible for operational planning and purchase execution of all manufacturing materials, spare and wear parts, and supplies stored in warehouse and bulk tanks in support of daily operations of East Fishkill semiconductor manufacturing facility. The employee is responsible for procurement system data input and integrity, as well as identification and management of strategic supply planning projects. 

Responsibilities include: 

Operational Planning and Purchase Execution

• Plans and monitors inventory stock levels for materials used in the manufacturing process 
• Collaborates with equipment and process teams to optimize inventory to support production needs
• Review of processes to ensure optimal cost, quality, delivery and safety of materials
• Coordinates and controls availability of re-usable components
• Coordinates delivery, purchase order discrepancies, and counts of consigned materials with suppliers. 
• Timely communication of shortage status and potential supply issues to stakeholders that include reducing supply risk actions and future corrective action
• Coordinates and controls receipt
• Collaborate with suppliers, sourcing buyers, accounts payable, and equipment and process teams to balance inventory cost and ensure supply continuity. Communicates demand fluctuations and supplier performance feedback to sourcing buyers

Business Systems Data Management and Integrity

• Creates and maintains part numbers and purchasing conditions in enterprise wide systems
• Analyzes and judges inventory levels and demand to determine planning parameters (e.g. reorder levels) to ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs

Strategic Supply Planning

• Obtains and evaluates material requirement planning information across departments and sites using data-based decision making. 
• Develops standardized processes, drives continuous improvement activities, and reduce risk; optimizing logistical supply processes.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $62,500 to $109,500 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
