Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. Being a Maternity Services Director manages the departments operating budget and measures performance using standards established by the hospital. May direct community outreach programs to deliver women's health information and education. Additionally, Maternity Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires registered nurse (RN). The Maternity Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Assertive Community Treatment Services for Youth (Youth ACT)
The program operates throughout Cape May and Atlantic County and delivers a multidisciplinary mobile team to provide intensive and immediate access to treatment services in the community. The program works with youth ages 5-20 who present with significant mental health needs, challenging behaviors, and/or are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out of home care.
