Maternity Services Director is responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-unit operations and staffing. Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. Being a Maternity Services Director manages the departments operating budget and measures performance using standards established by the hospital. May direct community outreach programs to deliver women's health information and education. Additionally, Maternity Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires registered nurse (RN). Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Resident Director the Head House Manager is required demonstrate maturity, integrity, and responsibility in assisting residents in participating and completing The Living Vine Resident’s, “Women of Excellence Program”. Demonstrate accountability in following set policies and procedures that support the mission of The Living Vine. Demonstrate spiritual guidance to each of the residents according to their specific needs. Model a loving and supportive parental figure to the residents. Work objectively with residents. Provide a neutral stance on adoption vs. raising the child while maintaining a pro-life belief. Participate in teamwork among all staff.
Education Required:
· Must have a high school diploma/GED
Knowledge/Skills Required:
· 1 or more years working with children and young adults.
· Proficient Culinary skills
· Home maintenance skills for cleanliness

Duties of Direct Care (Head House Manager):
· Model a loving and supportive figure to the residents.
· Maintain a professional relationship with each resident, during their stay and after, and adhere to the professional standards and policies/procedures as defined in the Living Vine Staff Manual.
· Instruct and model life skills including but not limited to cooking, personal hygiene, cleaning, budgeting, and spending.
· Guide residents in appropriate behavior & social interactions for participating in the program.
· Provide conflict resolution. Report and document all conflicts and any unresolved issues to Resident Director.
· Responsible for maintaining and updating manuals related to house management duties and responsibilities required by the state and The Living Vine.
· Assist in hiring and review of House Managers.
· Provide In-person training for new House Managers.
· Coordinate with house managers to create and document weekly menus.
· Oversee program of indoor/outdoor recreational and leisure activities.
· Oversee planning/coordination of outings, church attendance, and shopping.
· Oversee the weekly house shopping needs.
· Manage Second Harvest Food Bank coordination and conduct warehouse shopping.
· Work directly with the Resident Director to assist on resident intake days.
· Communicate with Resident Director and inform House Managers of information regarding residents.
· Manage and maintain documentation of House Management checklist and chore sheets.
· Assist in providing transportation for the residents when on shift.
· Assist in chaperoning residents under 18 to all appointments.
· Escort residents while shopping.
· Escort residents to weekend functions, church, entertainment, and activities when on shift.
· Dispense morning, evening, and weekend medication to residents, when applicable and complete required documentation.
· Ensure residents have adequate, properly fitting, seasonable clothing and are properly dressed.
· Work with House Managers to assign, monitor, and assist in the daily and weekly chores of residents.
· Model and instruct residents on home cleaning standards. Document responsibilities on correct checklist.
· Ensure that the daily schedule for residents is abided during working hours,
to include the time and boundaries of the phone & visitation guidelines.
· Attend weekly staff mandatory meetings.
· Complete nightly note for documentation on each resident’s status during work shift, and any other information needed for the next shift.
· Be willing to stay overnight when needed in emergency staff or on-call situations.
· Perform and assist with all operation, labor, and management of both inside and outside of the house which includes but is not limited to lifting, climbing, bending.
· Daily preparation and completion of dinner meals.
· Perform house closure each night in accordance with safety measures and ensure the home is tour ready for the next day.
· Report all pertinent information to the Resident Director.
· Report immediately all injury or abuse incidents to Resident Director and Executive Director.
· Give immediate feedback to the Resident Director and other house management concerning all applicable information.

· Complete annual Mandatory 24 hours of staff training.
· Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
