    The Department of Mathematics (https://math.ucsd.edu), within the School of Physical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We invite applications for a position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Mathematical Physics. The position is subject to availability of funding.

    Teaching and research in mathematics and related topics will be expected. Ideally, candidates will have skills and interest in teaching lecture courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

    The candidate must be ABD in Mathematics, or closely related field at the time of application
    Evidence of and/or demonstrated ability of scholarly impact and research productivity.

    Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field prior to the start date.
