Position Summary:
This postdoctoral researcher will join of group of postdocs that form the Modeling Core within Institute for Modeling Collaboration and Innovation (IMCI). They will bring expertise in mathematical modeling to this group with diverse modeling skills. They will participate in research funded by NIH COBRE grant number P20-GM104420. This includes participation on Research Project Grants, Modeling Access Grants, or Pilot Grants funded under this mechanism.
Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. by the time of appointment in mathematics or statistics or a related discipline.
Experience with:
- Mathematical or statistical modeling as demonstrated by publications in the field.
- Computer programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with:
- Working on biomedical problems.
- Developing and/or adapting models to new problems.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Machine learning techniques.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
