Under the direction of the Lead Lighting Technician, assigned lead or supervisor the incumbent provides complete technical support for all entertainment related events property wide. Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced lighting systems. Must have working knowledge of theatrical lighting, computerized lighting consoles, and electrical concepts. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Position requires frequent standing, walking, leaning, reaching and moderate lifting/carrying weights of up to 100 pounds. Ability to maintain a professional attitude while working under pressure and meet deadlines with a constantly changing event schedule. High school diploma required with three (3) to five (5) years of technical entertainment production experience, or a bachelor degree in a related field. Must be well versed in production/theater terminology. Ability to troubleshoot and assist in the repair of advanced lighting systems. Familiar with DMX and sACN data distribution methods. Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
