SENIOR RECRUITER

ESCO Group is looking for a Senior Recruiter who will partner with our hiring managers to develop and execute value-added recruitment strategies. This role will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment cycle for crucial roles across the Automation division. This individual will develop local and national recruiting plans, employing both traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new, creative recruiting practices. They will source, recruit, and help us hire top talent that will support our company’s growth.
We are looking for a decision-maker with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You need to be able to recognize and attract the best candidates for particular job positions.
BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program in Liberal Arts or related discipline from an accredited college, technical school, or university and 10 years or more of successful Professional Recruitment industry experience; or
- A combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
- Demonstrated to be highly proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Adept with the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PREFERRED:
- Experience recruiting for technical positions in the automation industry
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Partner with hiring managers to clearly define the accountabilities of each position and candidate success factors. Clearly understand performance needs of the positions and how they contribute to the organization. Outline expectations for the recruitment process to source and select the best qualified candidate(s) for the position.
- Each year, track the effectiveness of different sourcing strategies. Explore new avenues to recruit.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans to create candidate pipelines, reduce time to fill and improve candidate quality. Effectively build relationships for warm leads, contacts, and sourced candidates to create a sourcing database for existing or future needs. Keep contact information updated and establish relationships with top candidates to develop a strong networking pipeline necessary to support business needs.
- Find active and passive candidates using proactive sourcing methods, high touch direct sourcing, colleges, and networking. Use cold calling, database mining, internet searches, professional organizations, personal and functional networks, social networking, name generation, and employee referrals to generate candidate leads.
- Accurately assess candidate skillset, motivation, and job and company fit. Ensure fully screened, qualified candidates are presented to hiring managers in a timely manner.
- Visit area technical colleges and universities.
- Manage Applicant Tracking requirement and related documentation to ensure compliance with government regulations and reduce risk to company.
- Develop and analyze key recruiting metrics and reporting to propose value added solutions to resolve opportunity areas.
- Become involved in appropriate community and professional activities for exposure to potential candidates, networking, and other staffing developments opportunities.
- Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO’s standards and best practices.
- Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
