Mike's Country Store is seeking a fulltime Meat Cutter at our 1629 Philema Road S. store location in Leesburg, GA.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year meat cutter experience required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Job Description

• Proficient at cutting and trimming meat to size for display or as ordered by customer, using handtools and power equipment, such as grinder, cubing machine, and power saw.
• Skilled at cleaning and cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form.
• Ability to shape, lace, and tie meat cuts by hand, using boning knife, skewer, and twine to form roasts.
• Place meat in containers and wrap.
• Place meat on trays in display counter.
• Keep work area clean as directed by supervisor.
• Unload meat from delivery truck and store meat into refrigerator or freezer as required.
• Wrap, weigh, label and price meat for customers.
• Inspect and grade meats as required by supervisor.
• Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Motivated with a positive, friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and coworkers.
