Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Manager to join our team. As a Meat Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the meat department, including food preparation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Duties: - Manage and supervise the meat department, including but not limited to meat cutting, packaging, and display - Ensure proper handling and storage of all meat products to maintain quality and freshness - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat products as needed - Train and mentor staff members on proper meat handling techniques and food safety protocols - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate product promotions and special events - Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations - Implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability of the meat department - Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in meat preparation Requirements: - Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a meat department or similar role - Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques, including the use of knives and other tools - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional customer service skills to provide assistance and answer inquiries from customers - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
