Accounts Payables Assistant Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the full process of Accounts Payables for corporation and all subsidiaries in a timely manner.
- Process batch reporting and verify data entries are accurately recorded in all systems.
- Ability to manage, import, and reconcile invoice processing in various systems, and ensure all entries are accurate and properly recorded.
- Reconcile vendor statements, and schedule timely payments to meet vendor terms.
- Enter journal entries as needed as well as maintain and update chart of accounts when necessary.
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain precise filing of all invoices for each respective subsidiary.
- Ensure payment processing for ACH, wire transfers, and checks are all recorded accurately and timely in all systems.
- Reconcile and record credit card statements into systems for each subsidiary.
- Adhere to GAAP rules and standards.
- Liaise and build relationships with vendors.
- Support subsidiary managers as necessary.
- Must be able to adapt and learn new software.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge, understanding, and adherence of GAAP reporting principles and basic bookkeeping and accounts payables processing.
- At least 1 year of bookkeeping/payables experience or pursuing an accountant degree.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with managers and liaise with vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to easily adapt to new software.
- Must be comfortable enforcing all processes within all subsidiaries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team Player.
