Job Summary:
As the Plumbing CAD Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from different geographic locations. You will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate design plans and drawings for residential plumbing systems and components, while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail. This position can be remote.
General Responsibilities:

Interpret customer needs and create detailed plans for plumbing systems using CAD software

Analyze customer needs and determine the best course of action for the design

Create and modify drawings using CAD software

Utilize CAD software to produce technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams

Develop and maintain an accurate record of changes made to drawings

Maintain a library of standard drawings

Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with relevant codes and regulations

Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other CAD designers regularly

Actively participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress

Provide technical support and advice to other team members

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAD software
Qualifications:

1-year plumbing field experience preferred
-
Intermediate knowledge of and experience with CAD design

Knowledge of plumbing systems and principles
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Excellent time management skills
