Mechanical Engineer designs, analyzes, and maintains mechanical components and systems to meet specified requirements and standards. Utilizes technical instruments to develop specifications for new parts, modifications, or prototypes. Being a Mechanical Engineer identifies appropriate materials and processes to ensure the quality, performance, and manufacturability of products. Utilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop, and improve mechanical parts or components and communicate conceptual designs and specifications to stakeholders. Additionally, Mechanical Engineer conducts prototype testing to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems and collects and analyzes data for improvements. Analyzes and troubleshoots mechanical issues or failures to identify root causes and develop solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Mechanical Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Mechanical Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Willis Mechanical is seeking a Master Ammonia Refrigeration Technician who has knowledge and experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This individual will also have the opportunity to oversee a team of colleagues with less experience. All work is in and around the metro Atlanta area.

Pay and Benefits
Willis provides a vehicle, fuel card, and uniforms. Experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians receive paid holidays and three weeks of Paid Time Off. The employees' health, dental, and vision insurance is covered by Local 72. Employees also have access to the Willis Mechanical 401K program.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday. Day travel to new customers and job sites is expected.
