Description:

• Develop CNC programs for production runs on mills, lathes, and routers
• Modify existing programs and make manual program adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
• Train on set up, programming, and operation of CNC machines
• Responsible for design of fixtures and tooling
• Write setup instruction and tool list to optimize setup time
• Observe operation of machine on trial run to improve program cycle time
• Create job travelers and manufacturing operations from material and hardware to outside process
• Analyze drawings, sketches and designs to determine the best program and process to manufacture precision parts
• Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and digital models to meet deadlines.
• Assist in the design of lean manufacturing cells to optimize space, use of equipment, material, and personnel
