Uses CAD software and other design and modeling tools to develop and improve parts and products. Additionally, Mechanical Engineer conducts analysis and tests to determine weaknesses and failures in prototypes or products. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Mechanical Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be a team member of the Engineering and Development team for new and existing products. This includes the research and design of new heat exchangers, combustion systems, integrating electro-mechanical systems, and other HVAC components. Developing assemblies, BOMs and component integration. Design for manufacturing and efficiency is critical.
