Our company continues to grow so we’re looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering Team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in New Product Development at our Andrews, SC facility.

This position is responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design trade-off analyses to ensure the optimal design solution.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures to support product development.
• Conduct testing and analysis to verify design performance and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support to production and customer service teams, troubleshooting production and customer issues.
• Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and materials to continuously improve products and processes.
• Perform other tasks as business needs dictate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, PE or Masters a plus
• 8 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a focus on product design and development.
• Strong experience in the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment.
• Expert in using SolidWorks. Certifications desired.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8 hours per day
