Mechanical Assembler
Summary:
Experienced mechanical technician who will fabricate and assemble flight simulators. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard machining and assembly practices and will be able to work with a small team to complete the mechanical and electrical integration, assembly and testing of flight training devices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble all components of flight training devices.
Perform basic machining tasks using a vertical mill, lathe, cutoff saw, drill press, etc.
Follow all industry and company quality control standards and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
2-5 years’ experience in the field or related area (preference for simulation industry experience).
Able to operate basic machine tools.
Able to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings.
Welding experience or sheet metal experience are a big plus.
