Mechanical Engineering Manager manages a team of mechanical engineers designing parts, engines, tools, or other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Designs, scopes, and develops new mechanical engineering initiatives and projects, and manages them through their life cycles. Osborn Engineering is accepting applications for Co-Ops/Interns for our Mechanical Engineering Department at several of our Columbus, OH office location. All candidates should indicate which office location and the quarter/semester they are applying for within their application.
Students should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of their discipline. They will participate as a valuable member of the engineering team and will work with the staff to design, develop and implement solutions on multi-disciplinary projects. Students will assist with the documentation of data, drawings and spreadsheets, participate in field assignments, provide technical support to the team and work independently with clear instructions.
Requirements:
• Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program. Proof of enrollment –current transcript- must be included with application.
• Actively enrolled in the technical field to which you are applying.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in PC programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit a plus.
• Able to work full time for the duration of the program.
• Open to travel between office locations.
